Through the Portal: My DreamGate Journey into Healing, Dreams, and Deeper Self-Trust
For years, I watched people's lives change right in front of me.
As a registered nurse administering ketamine infusions for treatment-resistant depression, PTSD, and anxiety, I witnessed the profound shifts that happen when we open the subconscious mind safely.
When we create a container where the mind can roam outside of fear, outside of logic, and into the deeper truth underneath it all — healing becomes not just possible, but inevitable.
That experience shaped me permanently.
It also lit a fire in me:
How could I help people access their own healing states naturally, gently, and safely—without needing clinical intervention?
That’s where DreamGate was born.
DreamGate is more than a sleep tincture.
It’s a portal: a natural, safe, plant-based way to soften the thinking mind and open the subconscious, allowing for emotional processing, self-discovery, and even transformation through the ancient language of dreams. The New Science of Dreaming: Why Dreams Matter More Than We Think
Modern neuroscience is finally catching up to what ancient cultures have always known:
Dreams aren’t random.
They are essential to emotional processing, memory integration, and creative problem-solving.
Recent studies on lucid dreaming (the state where you're aware you are dreaming and can sometimes influence it) have shown that dreamwork can help:
Process unresolved trauma
Enhance emotional regulation
Boost neuroplasticity (your brain’s ability to adapt and heal)
Expand self-awareness
When we dream — especially when supported by tools like DreamGate — the boundaries between conscious and unconscious soften.
We meet ourselves more fully.
We heal in ways waking life can't always reach.
My Personal DreamGate Journey: What Happened When I Took My Own Medicine
When I began taking DreamGate myself, I knew I was stepping into the unknown.
Even with all my professional experience, I wasn't prepared for just how deep, layered, and real the journey would be.
Here’s a snapshot of my first sessions:
Session 1–2: Core Wounds Rise
I dreamt of betrayal.
Of my husband being cold, unfaithful, distant.
I woke up raw, emotional, shaken.
But underneath the surface pain, I realized:
These dreams were revealing my old fears — abandonment wounds I had buried, now rising for healing.
They weren't punishments.
They were invitations.
Session 3–4: The Journey of Self-Reliance
Next came dreams of transition.
Being left behind by friends.
Climbing to impossible doorways where old handles broke.
Boarding new vehicles alone.
It was terrifying — and freeing.
These dreams showed me that even when the "normal" paths failed, I could find my way.
I could trust myself.
Session 5: Trust and the Unknown
I dreamt of my husband recklessly driving a semi-truck through winding roads.
I wasn't in control — and I felt unsafe.
This dream cracked open a new realization:
I can't control everything around me.
But I can anchor trust inside myself.
Even when life feels wild, I can stay steady.
Session 6: The Soul's Longing
And then came the cougars.
A mother and baby, wild and sovereign, stepping out of the trees.
My heart exploded with recognition — this was the sacred feminine I longed for.
As they approached, they shifted into tame, lion-like creatures — and I felt a pang of grief.
Because I don't want the domesticated life.
I want the wild, wise, untamed version of myself — the version DreamGate helped me remember.
How to Interpret Your Dreams: The DreamGate Way
One of the biggest mistakes people make with dreams is thinking they have to "decode" the people or the actions.
Here’s the truth:
Dreams are not literal. Dreams are emotional and symbolic.
If you try to make them logical, you’ll miss their magic.
Instead, focus on:
1. Feelings First
What emotions were strongest in the dream?
Fear? Joy? Sadness? Excitement?
These emotions are the real messages.
2. Symbols, Not People
Your spouse, friend, or coworker in a dream often isn’t about them — it’s about an aspect of yourself or your experience they represent.
Animals, landscapes, vehicles, doors — these are powerful metaphors for your internal world.
3. Action Invitations
Every dream carries a potential next step.
Dream of a broken door? Maybe it’s time to break through old barriers in waking life.
Dream of turbulent water? Maybe your emotions need honoring and expression.
Why DreamGate Isn’t Just About Dreams
DreamGate isn’t about having "cool dreams."
It’s about reconnecting with yourself at the deepest levels — the parts that know exactly what you need, what you’re capable of, and what you’re ready to let go of.
Your subconscious is not your enemy.
Your dreams are not chaos.
They are your oldest, truest language.
And now, with DreamGate, you have a way to listen.
